The terrain is more interesting than its name suggests however, and this walk encompasses sections of the Mourne Wall, montane grassland, bilberry clad mountain slopes and a descent through the deep rocky glen of Pollaphuca. Slieve Meelmore&#8217;s summit gives views across the heart of the Mournes; those of Slieve Bearnagh and its picturesque tors are particularly fine.
